Staff Accountant

Compensation: $60,000-$70,000

Position Overview

A growing company is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities.

This is a newly created position designed to strengthen the accounting team and support continued business growth.

Responsibilities

* Prepare and post journal entries
* Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
* Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
* Maintain fixed asset schedules
* Support inventory accounting processes
* Prepare supporting schedules and financial analyses
* Assist with financial reporting and account analysis
* Work within large ERP environments and accounting systems
* Collaborate with accounting leadership on projects and initiatives

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 2+ years of accounting experience
* Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience
* General ledger accounting knowledge
* Excel proficiency required
* Ability to work independently and solve problems
* Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

* SAP or large ERP system experience
* Inventory accounting exposure
* Fixed asset experience
* Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-location environment experience
